Covid-safe Protocols

Patients that have returned from Covid hot spots are required to delay their appointments by 2 weeks.
Patients that have any Covid-like symptoms are also required to delay their appointments by 2 weeks.
All patients who enter our premises are required to check in using Check-in CBR. They are also required to sanitise their hands and practice social-distancing within the premises.
Air-sterilisers (called Virus Killers) have been installed to provide clean, sterile air at the premises at all times. This lab tested Virus Killer technology uses HEPA filters and UV light to achieve a 99.9% kill rate for pathogens such as Coronavirus.
High-volume suction is used for all aerosol-generating procedures.
All high-touch surfaces are wiped down regularly with the appropriate cleaning agents.

We follow strict infection control procedures in accordance with the relevant health authorities in Australia. We have been inspected by ACT Health in regards to this and have been found to be fulfilling all the requirements for proper infection control in a dental setting.
Where possible, we use single-use disposable items.
We use all the required personal protective equipment necessary for treating patients in a dental setting.
Our sterilisation room is equipped with high-quality equipment and checked daily to ensure that there are no breaches in infection control at the practice.
All of our staff are trained in proper infection control measures and regularly attend continuous professional development courses/lectures in this area.
